The Alexander Pedals Sky 5000 combines the crystal-clear digital delays of its predecessor, the Sky Fi, with a unique 1990s-style "slow" effect that increases in intensity over time. This reverb and delay effect pedal retains the "building" reverb combination, but adds many new features in accordance with the new NEO Series format.

Three reverb modes are available, including "+1, " which adds a note one octave above the reverb signal to create a classic sparkling sound image, and "-1, " which adds a note one octave below the reverb signal to create a more massive sound. Three modes of delay are also provided, including "DIG" for a bright, modern digital delay and "OIL" for a darker sound that simulates a vintage oil can delay. The maximum delay time is 700 ms. By combining these modes, a total of nine different mix effects can be used.

New features include a tap tempo that can be subdivided into quarter notes, dotted eighth notes, and eighth notes, and "auto trail, " which automatically attenuates the volume of the effect sound after a set interval. The unit also allows ramp morp morphing action without the need to connect any external devices. Using the ramp morp morphing function, you can smoothly transition between two pre-set parameters with a single operation, and you can even set the speed of that transition.

Up to four parameters can be user-preset in the main unit with your preferred adjustments to the selected mode. Six effect modes in one unit? RVB: A "slow-building" 1990s style reverb. Can be used for a wide range of effects from subtle to bold reverbs.

+1: Classic sparkling octave effect. The effect is enhanced by adding octave effects both before and after the reverb effect sound. 1: Adds a note one octave below the reverb signal. It sounds as if you are playing with a cello together!

DIG: A bright, modern digital delay extracted from Alexander Pedals' Radical Delay. Ideal for those who need a sharp delay. BBD: A warm, superior analog-style delay that simulates a bucket relay device (BBD) delay circuit.

Combined with the +1 reverb mode, it produces a rich and creamy sound. OIL: A dark sounding delay, not very clear and slightly distorted. Based on the sound of vintage oil can delay units.
